WHO IS THIS "D-FRESH" ANYWAY?

I am a DJ/Producer from Calgary, Alberta Canada. I have been DJ'ing since 2002 and have been producing since 2008. I have been blessed enough to have had the chance to hold my own residencies at clubs within the city over the years. I have also been given some wonderful opportunities to warm-up for such acts as Kaskade, Laidback Luke, Mark Farina, Nick Warren, Andy Moor and Chromeo amongst others.

I first discovered my serious passion for music while dancing like Michael Jackson in my parents livingroom as a kid! It was so much fun and although I may not have fully understood it at the time, it was then that I realized music was the one thing in my life that created that feeling of connection with who I truly am. It would be a number of years later till I got decks but now looking back at the course of events that led up to me starting to DJ I can see how it all fits together perfectly.

I have since realized that DJ'ing/producing is where my heart is truly speaking to me and as such I am committing myself to create my dreams and goals as a reality. It has been a very intense journey for me over the last few years discovering who I am and who I want to be. I have made some very big changes in my life to put me in the position to be able to achieve my goals and dreams. Although I have searched within my soul for the courage to step out and go for it I could not have done so without the support of those around me. My friends, family, girlfriend, mentors and everyone in between have been very supportive throughout the years. For this I am very lucky.
